Lou
"Chip" Gdalman
Baritone
Sax
Chip
plays baritone saxophone and puts the bottom end on the horn section
that holds us all up.
He's
performed with Natalie Cole, Chuck Berry and Frankie Avalon to name
a few and also on stage at the Chicago Jazz Festival in Grant Park.
Chip's a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and received
his Master of Music Education degree from Roosevelt University in
Chicago.
He's
currently the director of bands at Gompers Elementary School in
Chicago. When asked about the name "Chip" he doesn't remember being
called anything but that, and the name originated from the phrase
"chip off the old block" when being compared to his father.
